you had me at hello

i saw a bit of "jerry maguire" the other night on television and was reminded of how much i absolutely loved that movie--tom cruise was the best he's ever been, renee zellweger was fresh faced and raw and honest, and cuba gooding jr. stole the show when he made tom cruise scream,

but of course the best part of the movie was the love story--kind of a love triangle between tom, renee, and her little boy--i watched the last 30 minutes of the movie and was reminded of how great the ending was when tom bursts into the "man-haters" woman's group at renee's sister's house and renee said.....
" you had me at hello...."

but one of my favorites was when tom had just signed a big deal and he sang....

"frrreeeeee faaaalllllliiiiinnnnngg!"

i love tom cruise when he's not jumping on couches or trying to take me off my anti-depressants.

You had me at hello and Yes, I loved that movie too! I just saw an interview with that little guy last week and he's not so little any more-he's now couching football.

As with Tib's blog, I apologize for not commenting on your blog lately. You two girls are just too DAMN Blogalicious for your own good. You post too many great things at a pace that I can't keep up on. I used to try and comment on everything, but the anxiety would kill me and the time it took would consume me. So, I have resorted to commenting when I can. Your blog is totally worth the comments, but I am stretched so thin that I have not much more of me to give. So, apologize for my half-hearted commenting and don't take it as a reflection of my love for your blog!

I was able to get this movie edited from CleanFilms before they were sued out of business [>:(], she loves it.
We cry, we laugh, we love. It's Tom Cruise before we knew he was a weirdo.

I seriously know what you mean. I want to hate Tom Cruise so bad because he is such a freaking weirdo nutjob. But he has so many good movies! I can't help but watch them, in spite of him.

And I will admit, I didn't like Jerry McGuire the first time I saw it. Her liking him for what she thought he could be rather than what he was irked me. But it has really grown on me and has some awesome lines and scenes in it.

If Tom lived with me or my family I am pretty sure that we could change his mind at hello.
