my parents have been enjoying a wonderful adventure while living down in costa rica serving a mission for our church--
in the photo below, my dad is standing on a bridge that is located about an hour away from their house.
apparently, it's just another ho-hum day in the rica when you see this as you drive over:
i've been so excited to travel down next year to see them, but i must confess: i've been thinking in terms a little more along the lines of THIS. or THIS.

Your mom looks like one of "Barker's Beauties" pointing out that tree.
I know this bridge! We stop there every time on the way to our condo. What town are your parents in? Costa Rica is so lovely, even if you don't stay at the Marriott. (The incredibly warm water and the beautifully kind people make up for it.)
