chandi's spring soccer league just ended (yay!!!) and she played goalie almost all season long. i was amazed at how much she's improved, and bewildered at how she was able to bypass my non-athletic gene........she was an awesome player and i am proud of her! i especially like that she has such a passion for soccer, as it gets her outside and off her nintendo d.s.watching kids play soccer when they are 4 and 5 and 6 is not so entertaining. but at this age it starts to improve. my children all know that russ is the official soccer mom in this family--he gets the snacks and brings the folding chairs and yells encouragement at just the right time.
