when i walked into my garage yesterday afternoon THIS is what i saw. the only problem with this picture is the fact that we DON'T OWN A CAT. this is not our cat. i don't know who's cat this is or where it came from.
apparently that doesn't matter, because it feels completely comfortable all splayed out on top of my ride like cleoFREAKINGpatra:

now, let it be stated for the record that i like kitties. (don't break up with me.) in fact, i've always said that if i were forced, at gunpoint, to have a pet, it would be a "catty" (mia speak). but i already take care of 4 little animals-- (and i use that term affectionately) i don't need to up the number to five.

First off - I was intrigued that my updater said that you had updated "1 minute ago", so I just HAD to come check it out!
Second - Who the crap does that cat think she is? Now you're gonna have one of those cars with the tiny kitty footprints all up and down the windshield. :)
Just get in the car, drive about 60 and see if he can stay on...you guessed it, me no likey katty..
All you cat lovers, sorry, just a mean joke.. would never do it. (when somebodys watching anyway)..
jk
On top of the car is much better than what my dad's secretary found...a cat on her engine. Unfortunately, (for the cat) she didn't discover it until AFTER she'd turned-on the car to warm-up in the garage.
We have a cat who lounges like she owns the place too. Except she is all over my chairs in the backyard. He long, white hair coats the chairs and it drives me nuts.
Cats are very suspicious--always planning something, like your unlikely demise. I wouldn't trust that cat or his thug friends for a second.
P.S. It was only yesterday that I came to understand the meaning of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. I try to be hard core, but it turns out that I am just innocent and naive. DAMMIT!
I feel the say way about pets....I love animals, but I have enough on my hands with my little animals. I don't need to clean up any one else's poo!
I am NOT a cat love. Yes, kitties are cute but then they grow up!! But I have to confess, this is mighty cute. How can you resist? I think you've just met your 7th party to your family!!
I think she thinks she's really something sitting up there!
My cat used to do that too. She was SUCH a snot.
I love that last picture. It says "umm, yeah, you are bothering me, please go away."
Cats always look at you like they own the world, and that kind of scares me.
I love cats . . . outside . . . eating the mice in our yard.
Arrg to cats big & small
i feel ya on the "already got 4 animals" to take care of. (except i only have 3 right now:) we will not get a pet(besides our beta fish) until all of our kids are potty trained....so it will be awhile. i don't need more poo to clean right now.
I'm a cat woman. Except that I married a Boy who doesn't care for cats. I saved a kitten when I was in 4th grade (well... thought I was saving it, turns out I just took it from a house cause they had a whole bunch of kittens). He died my freshman year in college.
That cat touches a nerve. It looks exactly like Nemo.
Go ahead and laugh all you haters. But you can't complain when a cat doesn't ever bother you. Leaves when you want it to. Comes when you want it to. And now my husband wont let me get one.
So now I want a dog. (I have no kids, I want one!(both a dog and a kid))
Same issue here with the kitty invasion....what's up with them? All the sudden they take over the garage....Up here in hickville we welcome them to eat the mice, but the car is pushing their luck!
LOL. Yeah- I can barely afford to feed my kids, so we won't be getting a pet (besides our snake that only eats once a week) any time soon.
And so starts your part-time business as a Kitty Cat Courier Service.
Need a cat? Mindi delivers!
my cats used to do that too. but the sad thing was when i would start my car and drive away, they wouldnt move. i would then have to stop and pull em off. silly cats! btw- 'member the framed letter "f" you were giving away, may i ask where you got it? i would love one!! please dont say krumpets or somewhere 4+ hours away from me:)
And I'm sure your garage was like 8000 degrees, and there it was chillin' on top of the car with its fur coat, burning up. Cats are stupid sometimes. I have one, I know.
Oh that would make me mad too!
Once my Dad left his car windows open in his hot little sports car and a wild cat had babies on the floor of the passangers seat! It was nasty and he was pissed!!
Embrace it! The nice thing about cats is that they take care of themselves. It's way less work than kids. Or husbands.

We totally have a cat that chills out in our garage too - sleeps there at night often because he sneaks in when we aren't looking. Next time, I think I might park our neighbors garage in there overnight to scare it away! Good news is, you don't have any mice!
Cats suck!
i'm not that quick on the uptake, so it took me a minute or two to "GET" your title...but once i did i had to laugh my butt off. i used to take in every stray that looked at me sadly (or even at all) but those days are long over. cats bug me big time. they are takers, not givers. my dog actually loves me.
I send my kids out to get rid of any form of wildlife or domesticated animal on my property. Don't judge.
Well, you could always get a dog to keep away the cat. hee hee hee.
Looks to me that you've been adopted. Especially if the girls see him/have seen him. (Him? Her?):
"Mom, he followed us home! We *have* to keep him!! We promise you that *we'll* take care of him; you won't have to do anything. Pleeeeeeeeeezzzze!!!" (bat eyes and stare earnestly, pleading with the eyes)
I hate cats. Lots.
I don't think I knew that about you...that you would get a cat IF you got a pet. I think I am now breaking up with you. I really don't care that we've been friends for 20 years... You say "Cat?" and I say "OVER!" I am not a feline lover...
Awesome!
Your blog was one of Google's suggested ones to add, and I totally just subscribed.
We don't have any pets and aren't getting any any time soon. Here is to hoping the cat goes home...
I think he adopted YOU. You must keep him and name him Shakey II.
awe how cute, he looks healthy - wanted to hang out in your garage, cats are such snoops!
I use to have a cat like that. Until sadly she was killed by sitting in a car engine. yeah bummer of a comment but she looked like that. Her name was mamma meow. I loved her.
