god's gift to women or the book i wish i'd written

my omgirl arianne sent me the most delightful christmas surprise in the mail--it was the book that i blogged about-- god's gift: over 100 studs, stallions, and dreamboats from the 70's and 80's

i was so pleased that i thought i'd give you just a few of the tasty tidbits displayed between the pages.

agassi and his 'magic carpet'--

prince in his mother's shirt-- (especially for YOU, rachel!)

what good would a blog titled 'WORD TO YOUR MOTHER' be without a sexy shot of it's official mascot?

and, finally, the piece de resistance.......

wait for it.....

as well as have young children and pets exit the room.....

ladies & gentlemen: i give you andy gibb.
now, don't tell me that you didn't just click on that and enlarge, because you KNOW YOU DID.

a million thanks, arianne, for allowing me to share this with the world--i'm a giver.

Oh that Andy Gibb. Seriously, it wasn't any better in the late 70's early 80's. Although, small confession, I was more into Barry Gibb, but hey Andy was certainly there in my fave 5.....

I forgot what a hairy hot mess Agassi was!

As for Vanilla Ice, I once dated a guy because he could do a perfect "Ice" impression, looked just like him!

Prince-Eh, I always thought he was a sissy.

Andy Gibb. I have no words.

That's just a goofy picture of Andy Gibb. He really was groovy!

Didn't we have some playing cards at a little overnighter in Pine Valley that were from this same era? Oh yeah...Von and Amber snarfed them right up.

I had a poster of Andre Agassi on my closet door. It said, "The Ace of Hearts." Clever, huh?

Swoon.

You scored big time!

I remember all the girls at my school were either Andy Gibb fans or Shaun Cassidy fans. Major rivalry!!!!

I, of course, was all about Andy and that manly bod!

I can't even verbalize the jilliousness. It is sick.

You're welcome. And just so you know, I got one for myself too. I sleep with it on my headboard. Just in case the sex gets boring.

KIDDING!

Weird...because back in the 80's I actually thought they were HOT! Am I just old now...or smarter? And who knew our boy Andy had a special delivery package?

The truck my sister Mary Ann & I had in high school only had an 8-track. Andy Gibb was in that 8 track until the 8 track finally died. I must say for me--I was torn between Andy Gibb and Shaun Cassidy. "Rollin Rivers--pathway to my heart"
