Amen Sista! Isn't it funny how kids want all the stuff that drives us crazy? Crutches, braces, glasses, retainers and shaving their legs!! Been there and it wears off mighty fast. Oh, how could I forget a freakin gold fish?

I had sky blue Sally Jessie Rafael glasses. I rocked those glasses for at least a week.
At least their cute and thin. Back in the day when I wore glasses... oh man, not cute. She'll hate 'em eventually. But, by that time she can get contacts. My son got his contacts at age 11.
She is just beautiful!! She looks great in glasses....and then one day she can do a transformation like Laney in She's All That!

In my case, it took about 3 weeks. That's how long until I had been made fun of by every boy in elementary school and it dawned on me that glasses were nerdy.
