current clove guilty pleasures 2008

the following are the clove family's list of guilty pleasures.  we are enjoying:

tv show reality tv rocks our world. whether it be bret michaels finding "TRUE LOVE" (translation: ewwwwwwhhh!) or watching the hills in all it's 'non-scripted' glory, we are all gonna tune in. it doesn't just have to be trashy, either--we still love the amazing race & survivor. one of my new favs this year was flipping out--again, how can you lose with something like THIS??

clothing: confession--lately it's been anything with skulls on it. yikes!! or glitter. what's even better is a combo of skulls AND glitter. is there a ten step program for this? fyi i only wear TASTEFUL and REFINED skulls.

.

food:  russ and mindi  LOVE gas station nachos. we both appreciate it's ooey gooey nacho-cheese goodness even though it's not the cool thing to do.  it's white trash, but we simply can't help ourselves.

restaurant:

Chili's is the clove family's restaurant of choice and we order it nearly every sunday night.  it's our thing and we don't really apologize.  the chips and queso and salsa will forever remind me of russ.  and katie and chandi and abbey and mia.  our family sure loves eating this downstairs while watching an episode of survivor or the amazing race or lost or sytycd.

store:   target target and target and there was never anybody else in the picture except for target.  this store changed our lives when it came to stg in 2003.  the highly anticipated december 26th day after christmas shopping trips with breakfast at magleby's afterwards were some of mindi's favorite years with friends. and the people who created target are laughing all the way to the bank. with MIND'S money.

celebrity crush: michael weston of usa's BURN NOTICE is a stone cold fox. the man can make bombs out of cell phones and bubblegum, what's not to love? the girls in this family as well as aunt megan are pretty smiiten with this guy.

Target, 80's movies, and music and reality tv....yes, yes, yes, and yes! You know my stance on nachos with processed cheese sauce. I'm going to have to check out Burn Notice. He looks yummy.

FAVORITE SNACK/MEAL: GAS STATION NACHOS, 44 OZ. COKE (WITH THE GOOD PEBBLE ICE), AND NUT ROLL CANDY BAR (THEY'RE ALWAYS 2/$1). I WANT TO WEAR A SHIRT THAT SAYS "DON'T JUDGE ME".

Great idea for a post! My biggest guilty pleasures are long baths, eating out, running, and "playing with my flowers" (gardening). I may steal this post idea.

Like I told you before, I knew we were soul mates when you said Flipping Out was your fave. I'm just sad that we have to wait a year for the next installment. Have you seen the preview for Real Housewive of Atlanta???? WHOA!!! That should be great!

FYI, your playlist on your blog is awesome. I left it playing while I cleaned. Great selections!

OOooooo, love Burn Notice, Flipping Out, the music. Oh how I love music. All kinds. Except twangy country and super nasty hard rap. Is hard rap even a genera? Is that even how you spell genre?

Can't say I like your nacho's much.. but I love the head phones.

One of my guilty pleasures is Charmed. Everyday.

I have such a crush on Jeff Lewis, and hello.. Pretty in Pink is not just a great 80's movie, this is in the top 10 of all time!!! Rave up! My kids even love it, and yes, I know it's somewhat inappropriate. Don't care.
