thankful thursday

things i am thankful for this week:

1. these boots that rbc bought me at target to keep my piggies warm at the foo in denver--just like uggs, but only $150.00 cheaper!! (but first i had to get over my fear of wearing non-cute shoes. such a 'tard)

2. for the corn and tomatoes that my gracious father-in-law brings us from his garden. nothing like not having to work for your home-grown veggies and having them delivered to your doorstep.....i love my life. AND my father in law.

3. for my niece, kari, and her hubby robert who watched my rug rats when we were gone and held the fort down like pros--the only problem is that it was an effective birth control tool. our bad.

4. for just a HINT (and only the barest of bare, but still.....) of fall in the air. could it possibly be?

5. for grandma larkin who spent all day tuesday having "mia" time--she even got her to take a short "rest"--NOT a nap, mia informed her, but just a rest. ummm, there's aBIG difference, you know?

Excuse me? Who ever said Uggs weren't cute (in an off sort of way!) I live in chilly territory in the winter and they make me feel all warm and toasty. Besides it's all about who is wearing the boots, right?

When you live in the cooler places, Uggs become really cute, real fast!

I sure want a pair of UGG's. Just trying to save up cause as you know... spendy. I should check out Target, though.

So glad you finally stopped by my blog :) I've been stalking yours for a while now, you make me laugh. And I appreciate laughter.

Consider us bff's.

P.S. hand me a child, any child and I will still walk away as baby hungry as I came.

Love the boots! I think sass is more about the person wearing the outfit than the outfit itself. Sounds like you had a great trip to Denver. Yummm fresh veggies.

How lucky are you to have your own produce man? My life sucks compared to yours.

A hint of fall in the air means 90 degrees for you, right? I wish.

I wear the same ugly big black Wellingtons everyday during the months of Jan and Feb. Scott hates them, but I don't care. I also have a fluffy down coat I wear equally as often. I may even buy matching pants and cap. "O de Michelin Man" It's cool.
