5 lessons learned from the 11 year old's birthday party or hb chandi!

1. never underestimate the power of a small group of girls. frankly, it's a tad bit frightening.

2. $2.00 showing of "marley and me" had many, MANY people sobbing loudly at the end. (cue eye rolling by the mother who's a cold-hearted beyotch)

3. $2.00 was two dollars too much to pay for showing of "marley and me". period.

4. having an aunt megan who will make you a soccer cake is more valuable than gold.

5. a single issue of "tiger beat" will entertain 5 adolescent girls for up to 40 minutes.

Oh Mindi, I'm not breaking up with you, but Marley and Me? One of my FAVs!

YOur post does remind me of when my Mom hosted my bday party at a showing of Watership Down. Do you remember that cartoon where all the rabbits kill each other? Major girl drama!

SO you wouldn't like me to send Dieter for a visit?

Good to know. I thought it looked like stupid movie. But then the press tried to hype it up like it was more than a movie about a bad dog with wussy owners. Sounds Like I was right.

All I know is the dog dies. That is enough to make me not want to see it. And my almost 5 year old lOVES Tiger Beat too. I thought that was more of a 'tween thing, but I suppose not.
