eating a scorpion and other small little clove girl faves

russ and i were just reminiscing the other night about some of the funny, random things we remember our girls doing when they were mia's age (2-3 year old range):

this one used a baby scorpion (oh, yes. i kid you not.) as a teething toy--you should have seen her gumming that thing until i walked into the room and FREAKED OUT. she also ate from a bottle of vick's vapor rub later that same week.

oh my, this one kept us on our toes. she cut her hair --THREE different times--the last time being soooo bad that the only option left was to cut her hair like this:

she also liked to climb up on the counter and drop matches into the toaster and turn it on. (safety first at our house!)

this one ignored adult family and close friends when being spoken to--she would just close her eyes and pretend you didn't exist. NOT because she was shy, just because you were an annoyance to her in general. she did, however, suspend the "you are dead to me" act IF you had treats and were offering one up.

this one went on her own field trip at old navy and happened to be found by a crabby employee that worked for the utah child protection services. (again, not an exaggeration. she gave me her card and a lecture. i gave her a piece of my mind.) oh yeah, and the WORST was this

so very funny, these little people. so much work and so much effort, but so much love and so much reward! we love you katie-bird, chanandler bong, abbers and mia-mia-bo-bia....

Those girls can do anything they want! I love them so much and hereby give them permission to write on your family photos, cut their own hair, and even pretend that I am not there.

You are making me feel so much better about my son dumping out the cheerios box this morning. It could be worse, huh? I did an actual LOL at your daughter shutting her eyes and ignoring you. Thanks for the laugh!
