my ddp enabler

have you ever watched an episode of 'intervention'?? it's a documentary about addicts and their families, and the process they go through to get the addicts into rehab.

many episodes the people from the rehab staff have to come down hard-core on the family, as they have enabled the user and his or her addict behaviors.

i wish you to meet my "enabler"--isn't he handsome? if he had a dime for every time he went into a handi-mart to procure me a diet dr pepper, i think he would be ready for early retirement by 2010. what a good guy--thanks, honey, for feeding my full-blown addiction.

hey-----the first step is ADMITTING you have a problem! too bad i don't plan to take it any further.

Love me some Russ. You have a fine man there. No question. he is a keeper. I recall him enabling us a few times while we were there as well.

Russ, keep up the good work!!

He is such a good guy.. I especailly love it when he pulls the "Damn it, Mindi"...while walking into the store. He is such an awesome guy. I especially love all of his t-shirts. Big Daddy got a few himself, but wasn't able to get the full reaction from the crowd we were with in Mexico. I don't think the bosses liked his "touch my monkey" t-shirt he wore to the evening beach party. I wonder why not?

Russ lays out the red carpet for you (and everyone else) whenever he is around. What a great guy!

What would life be without addiction? Hardly worth living, that's what!

What a fine man you have! We too are addicted, and Kyle got me hooked. He prefers a big beverage without a lid and a straw AKA an "Open Face Bevi".

P.S. He thinks straws are for girls.

P.S.S. Russ, you are not a girl, even if you prefer a straw. ;)

He is so great! I have never been a diet dr pepper fan until I got prego and now I want one all the time. I wish Preston would always go to the gas station for me and get one.

Gotta love a great man. Way to go Russ! Can you believe I live in TX for years and never made it to the Dr. Pepper museum? Just one of life's great regrets ;)

OK, I needed to lighten up today and your recent postings are killing me (in a good way). I didn't know which one to comment on. I am 6 mo. pregnant and have hated Dr. Pepper my entire life until about two months ago and I can't get enough of it (diet DP). My husband started my addiction. Gotta love our hubbies!

I too, sport an ENABLER. My poison of choice, HIGH OCTANE, fully loaded, must be cold and bubbly straight up COKE!!! We say "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day" at the HIDEOUT, um... because Coke is on the menu!!!. Sing w/ me Mindi! "Coke is it... the most refreshing way, to make the most of every day." Crap. Yet another song littering the corners of my junkyard mind.

Um. Russ so looks like a 'giver'! Just look at how he's handling those "D"-rink Cups! (too suggestive?-feel free to remove if needs be.)

I kinda miss my D.P. addiction...it was so darn enjoyable!
Tell Russ "you're a good man, Charlie Brown" for me.
