with 4 girls in the house, we have lotsandlotsandlots of barrettes and hair accessories and bows, or "pretties" as we refer to them as. they are often discarded here and there and under this pillow and thrown on this counter, and as i go through and pick up, when i find a pretty, i clip or fasten it on my head to take back into my bathroom where all good pretties live. there have been times when i've taken them out that i've counted up to 14 different fantastic hair accessories atop my head.

Bad? Come on give me something I can work with here. Those aren't even bad. I can do way worse than that although I don't think I will! I don't know if I am at that level yet! Is there a 12 step program? I love to idea of putting them in your hair. I will have to try it.

I just have to say that I love your blog. You've provided many a needed laugh for me since I discovered your blog. Having three girls myself, I clip them in my hair as I clean up also. And have made more than one late-night trip to the grocery store forgetting they were there.
Mindi, you already know that you can rock many a look and totally get away with it...including bad angled photos with many a pretty in your hair. You are gorgeous no matter what!

Loved your idea and took on the challenge. I went a step further, I was able to find MANY a bad photo! You'll have to check it out! I too have always put the hair accessories in my hair as I clean, but I'm not as creative as you are and think to take a pic!! You're awesome! Love your blog!
I love that you did this! I love looking at old photos of my parents- and there are not many of my mom- I have come to realize that even on our worst days- we will someday look back and think-"Damn, I was not to bad! What was I so worried about? "

These are freaking hilarious - merely because of your post and comments. I totally commend you for posting these pics. I, like you usually have a fear of posting pics if I am not at, or near my best. Even though...that is worse than some people's worsts! Case in point - you look great, aside from the fact that you look like you just went to your own wedding shower and had to put all of the bows from your gifts, onto your head!
