72 hour kits I can handle...the long term food storage? I dunno, I would hope the good lord would just take me away if anything happened where we were going to have to use any more than a couple weeks' worth of stuff. Or i could high tail it over to your house cause I hear you are storin all the real important stuff, tampons, ciggies! You will be the bartering Queen for shizzle!

I'm all about the bartering system. I'm going to stock up on a year's supply of Diet Dr. Pepper and toilet paper, and use it to get the rest of the stuff I need.

Those are great! My came pre-assembled in a box. They are still in the box! I don't even know what's inside. Also, I'm trying to figure out a good place to keep them. Any ideas?
Good for you! for all that I'm dong so well on my food storage, I have only 2 food pacs for my 72 hour kits (I guess Beck and Daphne are going to be hungry!) and nothing else put together. It's one of those things that I think about a lot but never do. I really need to do it.
This is a bad sign for me if anti-food storage Mindi has 72 hour kits I better get a move on. Where in the hockey sticks are you going to store those? You might have to kick some seasonals out of their storage room.
