1 year anniversh!

january 21st, 2007 was the date that WORD TO YOUR MOTHER first came into this world.

although not life changing for any of you, (as it SHOULD be.) it's been a wonderful journey right from the beginning for me.

i've "met" and interacted with so many different people and have truly enjoyed blogging--so i want to celebrate 365 days by doing WORD TO YOUR MOTHER 1 YEAR ANNIVERSH giveaway~

it's your luckiest day, ever, as i've included some of my favorite things and items that i have blogged about during the past year. i think you will be psyched when you see this most lucrative and utterly stupendous giveaway booty:
(heh. heh. she said 'booty.')

seasonals (valentines in this case)

25 $ i tunes

lip balm or "chappy" if you live at our house

'a-okay' symbol

& finally, something new: 25 $ pottery barn certificate

anyone can play and all are welcome--simply leave a comment stating one thing on this blog (you might have to think REAL HARD) that you've enjoyed so you can stroke my ego. if you've been a silent stalker and have never felt the need to comment, i VALIDATE YOU. but hope you'll come out and enter. I TRIPLE-DOG DARE YOU.

want two chances? pimp me out on your blog~not required for my love, however.

the winner will be drawn on day 365--wednesday, january 21st

thank you all for 1 year of blogging bliss!

I love the catalog for men stuff.

Great giveaway! You've been missed!

Pedaling said...

thanks. it's utterly, i'll remember that.

easy question. i've enjoyed many things but the one thing i loved most was the first post i read on your blog - the conversation overheard while trying on pants at old navy!
(also, kinda dig the confession booth, too)

Vanessa said...

I would have to say confession booth! That was my first introduction. And then when you brought it back, I was glued to the screen for a week!

You are on my sidebar, so two for me!

PS, glad you are back!

"Merry Christmas shitter was full"

Love it...Yes, I have been a silent stalker, but your dare was to much and I had to come out...Thanks for making me giggle so many times.

Stephanie said...

OK, I just love your sense of humor. We are the same age so your references to your childhood and teenage years often crack me up! Keep up the good work!

Malea Ellett said...

hmmm, where to start. I will probably pick the music selection. I put it on when I'm working on the comp!! Also, gotta love the giveaway's, even though I haven't won. YET. But I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to!!!

Kelli said...

My personal favorite would definitely have to be the international male posts! I came out of the stalking closet a few months ago and just love your blog.

Mikki said...

happy anniversh!!
One thing? There are so many things I like about your blog though!!
I think what I like the most, (and it's not one post in particular that I'm going to mention) is that there's lots of pictures. :o)
sometimes it's nice to just look at the pics, and not have to do a TON of reading. I love that about you! You post just the right amount of text.
The 21st is the day before my birthday--wouldn't it be AWESOME if I won?

ern said...

i like thankful thursdays, i heart the random items you find and put on your "i want" lists...but the thing that first drew me here were the random WTF posts that make me laugh out loud.

Kristen said...

I visit your blog first thing every morning to get a good laugh and start my day with a smile. Sign me up! And I'll be "pimping you out" on my blog.

Happy (almost) Blogiversary!

One thing, huh? How can I narrow it down to only one thing? The Funny Funny Randomness, the great dance moves, the What I want for Christmas ideas, the 1980s tv/movie flashbacks -- they're all great. I guess I could sum it up by saying the one thing that keeps me coming back is the sense of humor & how it's demonstrated.

Shauna said...

I l♥ve the Keep Calm Rock on sign on your side bar! It is perfect as I am trying to stay calm :) Please count me in on this wonderful giveaway! Have a great day! ♥ Hugs :)

Martha H. said...

I *heart* all the fun products you show. I seriously bought the Schticks from Urban Outfitters for my SIL and she LOVED them.

I need to win this. Bad.

Let's just put aside our agreement and you can give me this one.

Puh-lease!!

Oh and you are totally getting a shout out :)

tiburon said...

Oh and the best post you ever did was the Tiburon Stalker post. Where you put your head on Adam's body and you made a voodoo doll out of the hair in your shower drain and ate it.

I still get warm fuzzies just thinking about it.

Kris said...

I love the pictures...sometimes I just need a giggle at work and I know that I go to your blog for a minute I will get anything from a giggle to a good belly laugh. Thank you so much for sharing your blog, I love it.

Happy Anniversary I knew I loved your blog when you incorporated ghetto slang in to your posts. It was love at first read. OH and I so want those skull candy headphones. Richie and G look so cool with theirs.

Anonymous said...

I think that the part that I have most enjoyed has to be the fact that when I comment I get to be a smart-A all I want. But since Kristin outed me & my covert-name I have to own up. Too bad. Sometimes I laugh soo much my hubby thinks I have lost it. It is fun to peek into your little pet project once in a while too.

Brenda said...

Can we say EVERYTHING! I've been a silent stalker for some time. The triple dog dare brought me out. Consider your blog pimped on mine.

I seriously look forward to stalking your blog daily, and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite part of your blog is the way you describe each experience. I can picture your reactions to them all. The car wreck in SLC, the rental van. Your love for the hoodie you had been "coveting for years" Russ agreed you should buy in Park City. Thanks Mindi for an AWESOME year of hysterical laughs. Keep it up.

I am going to have to go with the confession booth- not only was I checking it every 15 minutes to get another nugget of jaw-dropping fun, it's what led me to send you that email and allowed me a coveted place among your FB friends.

HAPPY ANNIVERSH! We can only pick ONE favorite thing...seriously? Well, I may or may not break the rules. My favorites would have to be the Motivational posters that make me laugh hysterically, the Confession Booth that you did a couple of times, the posts about your adorable daughters, your Funny Funny Randomness posts, your Giveaways (of course), your Seasonals that you put all of us to shame with every season, oh and I can't forget your flashback pictures - you were definitely an 80's WOMAN! And that's pretty much one...right?!

Misty said...

Oh yeah, and I totally pimped you out on my blog, so count me down for 100 extra entries...you mean we only get 1 extra entry? Best Napoleon Dynamite voice: GAWSH! Okay, just kidding. But seriously, check my blog out. I totally posted a picture of you!

Cool Giveaway! I learned a few things actually. I had NO idea that skipping was jogging's gay brother. Or that Barack's car in on e-bay. And that you want some COOL t-shirts!!

Sunny said...

One thing I've loved? That you're this cool in PUBLIC! No shame. No apologies. No explanations...unless they only serve to add to the hilarity. You rock my world. Float my boat. I've pimped you out on my blog and if I ever came across you being pimped out for real on the mean streets of St. George I would buy the whole night and then some.

It's quite a love fest over here. And why not?! I know I've got a lotta love for ya.

Certain phrases pop into my mind when I think of Mindi. Things like Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot, the 80’s as a whole, 5th grade humor (love it), mullets…

One of my favorite posts was a video you took of Tiburon from the John Mayer concert. I tried to search for her exact words from the video but I can’t remember when it was. It was something along the lines of, “I’m gonna pee my pants!” Awesome.

Also, my husband does enjoy looking over my shoulder while I'm on your blog.

Props to you for a really fun blog with lots of edge to it.

A fav...hmmm, so many but I think I loved when your daughter used a sharpie on your family photos and you didn't string her up by her ear lobes and I loved the post where you treated yourself to a Roots sweatshirt.
